Approximate Purchase Date: e.g.: this week (the closer the better)

Budget Range: £1000 or there abouts

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Mostly used for gaming, so the likes of Battlefield 4, Titanfall, etc

Are you buying a monitor: No

Do you need to buy OS: No

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: From the UK, so uk sites only, such as Amazon, Dabs etc

Parts Preferences: Only preference is that has an Intel CPU. Much prefer these, been looking at the Haswell 4770K I7.

Overclocking: Maybe (Although most likely not)

SLI or Crossfire: No plans to as of yet, looking to buy a fairly decent graphics card so probably not that much point.

Your Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080

Additional Comments: Preferably no lights or illuminations. Don't really fancy there being a landing strip in my room. Would like a window to see the internals but that isn't a must. Also NO SSD as of yet, I will be looking to purchase one in the future, or may just nab the one from my Laptop.

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: I would like to play more of the modern games on v.good graphics settings, getting annoyed of constantly bad FPS. Plus this would be my first build and its been something I have always wanted to do, just never had enough money. :)

Thanks...

Great build, you'll get great framerates on BF4 on Ultra and I've put a great MSI Gaming Z87 board and a Hyper 212 evo so it's overclock ready. This is a great build

Everything looks fine expect the PSu, CX is not recommended. A XFX 650 would suffice for a single gpu setup - http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/xfx-power-supply-p1650snlb9

He said he was unlikely to sli/crossfire plus CX series aren't great anyway regardless of wattage. A 650W is good enough for overclocking for single gpu. A XFX 550 or 650 would be still better for his choice.

Thank you for noting that. I've updated the build to an XFX 650W and now it seems like a great build for just over £1000
