So I had purchased a crucial 4GB, 1600mhz ddr3 ram (CT51264BA160BJ), to replace my old 2x1GB ddr2 ones. My motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-G41M-Combo ( http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4213#sp ), which has a compatibility of maximum 1333mhz. It does not recognize it, when the PC boots, I get that memory problem beep. I'm not using the old ones, only the 4GB. Is there any way, to make it work?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

specs:
mobo: Gigabyte GA-G41M-Combo
cpu: IntelCore Duo E7400

It is dual channel, which means that you must have a stick of RAM in DIMM 1 and DIMM 3. I.E, slot one and three.
