What is the best system to run AutoCAD 2014? Will 64 bit system run older 32 bit applications which I need but are not being updated? Want to run dual displays.

I have worked with inventor professional 2014 at school. I have worked with it on my dad's computer (old core 2 quad) and mine (3 months old).

The processor matters a lot if you want to keep things running smoothly, but a descent graphics card is also needed to keep a good frame rate.

My dad's had a GeForce 8600gt, and would drop down to a frame per seccond while cutting or adding to bodies in a 3d environment. And it just about maxes out my 780 doing the same things, but it keeps around 60fps, and everything runs like a knife through butter. A 780 isn't needed, I just went a little overboard for some games.

A good build would be
an i7 4770
An H85 mobo
A gtx760
8 gb of ram (16/32 for large assemblies)

Without posting a budget, I was forced to put this together. And if you got it....... Your pc (can't really even call it a personal computer) would be better than the people who designed AutoCAD 2014.

So yeah...

Dual PSU, so you will have to find somewhere to put the other one. A 1600watt unit won't provide enough power, and the Cosmos II doesn't have 2 psu bays, and the Corsair 900D doesn't support a motherboard of that size.
