Windows 7 FAX "no answer"

If the receiving FAX does not answer in under 5 rings, Win 7 FAX will stop waiting and give a "no answer" message.

Can the number of rings or time to wait for the receiving FAX be increased in the FAX and Scan software?

Could you email them a PDF they could just print out?

Why do you need windows to do the faxing for you, isn't that the fax's job?
