Possible Gaming Rig, Need Help!

Solution
The processor is perfect for any type of gaming rig, if you don't plan on overclocking than the stock intel heat sink keeps it very cool, so if you wont overclock just save that and get a better graphics card, the motherboard is alright for what you want, so I don't see a problem with that, Gigabyte motherboards tend to do fairly well, even for overclocking, I do recommend getting a dual channel (4x2) gigabytes of ram as it does make a different in speed, the hard drive seems fine, I have never had a problem from a Toshiba hard drive! If you are playing on 1080p and don't mind medium to high (not ultra) settings then that card will be fine, anything above 1080p you will definitely want to get a more beefier card, the power supply, case...

You've chosen 1 stick of 8GB RAM. Dual Channel memory is considered better than using just the one stick of RAM (as for the technical details as to why, I'm not sure, more knowledgable people on the forum can tell you why), so a 2 x 4GB RAM kit may be better for you.

Here's a link that sort of explains it

Overall I say its a decent computer, but I do recommend spending more on the gpu than the cpu, as the gpu will be the biggest factor in games. *EDIT* The cpu cooler for that case is a little iffy, it will fit, but it will be a very close fit.
