I recently completed my first build and I discovered that when I would turn on the monitor nothing happened. I got no signal, all the fans were spinning though. The MoBo blinked red below the DIMM slots. Its possible I may have damaged my RAM when I was taking off the heatspreaders. I'm think about buying more RAM, but before I did I wanted to confirm that it was the RAM and not anything else.
