AOI Water-cooling or Air-cooling?

Hey guys,

Looking into my computer build and I want to do some over-clocking on Haswell. I really want to use water (don't have the money for a custom loop) because it's quieter, looks cleaner than a giant after-market fan, and, hell, it's cool.

But I'm also concerned about performance. How would something like a Corsair H110 (a higher end AOI) compare with a Noctua NH-D14 (which is a really good air-cooler from what I've read)?

Thanks!

EDIT: and that brown Noctua theme doesn't match my color scheme in any shape or form

The H110 will perform a little better at high speed. It will be substantially louder though. This site did a few reviews a while back, if you search for them, but basically if performance and noise quality are the two things you are looking for, an AIO is inferior to a high end air cooler.
