Windows 8 freeze upon boot

I have this PC with no OS that I didnt use for 1 month now, I decided to install Windows 8 with a CD and when it boots the Windows 8 logo apears and it just stays there for hours, In other cases the screen just sometimes goes black.

Any ideas on how I can fix this? Thank you! :)

Do your system meet the requirements if so is your hard drive making any noise

Processor: 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster

RAM: 1 gigabyte (GB) (32-bit) or 2 GB (64-bit)

Hard disk space: 16 GB (32-bit) or 20 GB (64-bit)

Graphics card: Microsoft DirectX 9 graphics device with WDDM driver

Its not making any noise and yes my system does reach the requirements.
