I am recently back to computer gaming after about 10 years absence.
I first tried playing starwars galactic battlegrounds but said something about there being a directdraw error.
So now I have downloaded the age of empires III trial and it won't play saying,
"Initialization error
Direct3D initialization failed. Possible causes:
Old or corrupted graphics driver
Direct3D improperly installed
Hardware accelerator disabled
Starting the application with the workstation locked.
Now I have checked to make sure I have directX 11 installed. I've also tried re-installing age of empires III.
Should I try re-installing directX? If so how do I go about that? I hope my GPU isn't corrupted or anything.
Any suggestions?
