If you can wait a little longer on the purchase, as I see you have a GTX card. Nvidia is planning on releasing G-Sync monitors that will pair perfectly with a GTX gpu eliminating any tearing, lag, and stutter. The rumored release is at the end of next month and they will have 1080p ones that won't cost much more than your standard monitor, but if you just need a monitor now, then I recommend this one - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236305

You'll definitely want 1080p with that budget, 1440p costs more like 500 dollars. Do you have any more specific requests, for example type of screen, size, do you want integrated speakers? That would really help me pick one for you, because there are hundreds of monitors for under 200 dollars.
