Hey guys,
A few days ago my ASUS laptop started messing up and now the sleep/hibernate buttons are greyed out, i have limited access to the internet despite a strong signal, word freezes when i attempt to save and the standard VGA graphics adaptor is displaying a code 10 error.
This all started when i opened my laptop and the screen resolution had converted to 800x600 for some reason.
I'm not really tech savy and i've been going around trying to find out whats wrong but i just cant figure it out. It's been really annoying, i basically cant use my laptop as the screen also loads slowly in parts.
Any help please??

Sounds like your drivers are no longer installed. Did you have any other issues before with a virus or anything? Did you shut down the laptop improperly or did it crash? The video card should not be listed as "standard VGA adapter", it needs to be whatever the video card actually is. If this is the ONLY issue you've had, go to ASUS support page and download and install the Cipset, Video, Audio, Ethernet, WiFI and power management drivers. You may need some other ones for a media card reader and such if you have those.

I think i might've shut down the laptop improperly and then when it started up it started having these problems.
Do i need to install all of them? I checked on device manager and it says that all the adapter's i have are working properly.

Yes, install the drivers. The video card should not be showing up as standard VGA.
