First-Time Build Worried About Temperatures!

First off I'll list the build.

Case: NZXT Phantom (Only really listing because it's an air cooled computer and for that case actually matters.)
PSU: 750+Gold EVGA Supernova
Motherboard: ASRock z87 Extreme4
CPU: Intel i5 4670k
HeatSink: Noctua NH-D14
Ram: 8gb Gskill Ares
GPU: Geforce GTX 780 - GIGABYTE GV-N780GHZ-3GD

Alrighty soooo temps... I know Haswell runs hot, and I figured a good aftermarket cooler like the Noctua would be able to handle it well.

Prime95 for 3 hours and the highest temp is 59°C, which is pretty good but still seems a little high for a stock processor with aftermarket cooling. Also idle temps or light load are around 30°C. Any suggestions to make it run cooler? I'd like to overclock it to about 4Ghz or so for a 24 hour build!

My question more so than anything is about the GPU, Idle temps are around 30°C, but under load that jumps up to a whopping high 70° low 80°C

Otherwise, for my first build I think everything went smoothly, had an issue with a Blutooth dongle that I need to yell at someone about but everything else seemed to go swimmingly.

Hi Thomas Baker
Those temps are good , you have a good cpu cooler so i think your build went well,
only way to get cooler would be water cooling, possibly an aio cooler (all in one ) like corsairs h100i or h105 etc, but those temps are nothing to be sneezed at well done
as far as your GPU goes as long as it does not exceed 90 i would not worry if you are concerned about it try better case fans, ones with a higher cfm , any fan that blows toward or onto your card
especially side case fans or front intake that may help reduce temps

Yeah, lower ambient temp really isn't possible. Not to sound sexist or anything (Go Women!) but I live with my girlfriend and if the thermostat is ever below 70°F then an hour later it's above 80°F. So picking and choosing my battles 70°F is about where my thermostat will stay.

As far as case fans goes that's a good idea, it'll take a while for them to ship so I'll get back to you on that. I thought it was really peculiar the fans the initial Phantom comes with, no big side fan, no front fan etc. It does have 2 excellent fans over the HDD bay though that keeps them amazingly cool. I read somewhere else that Nvidia higher end cards run hotter, and the specific card I mentioned above has a BEAST cooler on it (requires a minimum 600 watt PSU) so that's why I was all confused. After some research high 70's low 80's (°C) seems to be common. So yay! First build completed successfully, I'll wait until I get the case fans to OC just to err on the safe side. Thanks for your replies!
