I recently updated my Windows 8 to 8.1 and my graphics settings switched from NVIDIA GeForce GT 735M to Intel. I've downloaded the latest NVIDIA driver (v 335.23) but still cannot manage to switch it back. The graphics are distorted and blurry with Intel. I set the preferred graphics processor under global settings on the NVIDIA Control Panel to High-performance NVIDIA processor, but there's no change. NVIDIA shows up in Device Manager, as well. How do I fix this?

I'm on a laptop, btw.

Can you sent the pic of the display you are getting when using intel graphic. Nvidia and Intel are supposed to work together, Intel comes with the processor and Nvidia one is there to provide support to Intel graphic or help it play games at more settings and things like that.

For example, Skype's client is now taking up almost half my screen when shrunk to the smallest size. I don't believe it's a resolution issue because I've messed with it to make it smaller and it looked no where near how it did before. The Skype call box will have a bizarre white outline that was never there before and text appears slightly blurry. The icon next to the Skype shortcut also looks distorted, which may or may not have anything to do with this.

Also, when I opened a game, I got a popup from the client saying that my graphics have switched from NVIDIA to Intel and has changed the settings within the game to accommodate that. Also, while in the NVIDIA Control Panel, under Manage 3D Settings>Program Settings, most programs seem to be running with NVIDIA with the exception of the following that are running with integrated graphics, in which the option to change the setting is greyed out.
-Internet Explorer
-Apple Itunes
-VLC Player
-Intel Wireless Display
-Windows Media Player

I'm just a little confused as to why my graphics are appearing the way they are in the pic.
