Hi guys just looking for some advice I've got some cash and I'm looking to upgrade.
My specs are:

Windows 7 64 bit
I500 2500 stock
8GB DDR3
GTX 580 1.5 GB gainward good
X2 velociraptor HDD x1 250gb x1 120gb
Coolermaster 650w psu
Msi H67MA-E45 main board
Thermal take level 10

What I'm looking at is it worth upgrading my CPU and main board to a I5 4670k and a GTX770 or a Radeon r9 290 or should I just upgrade the GFX card to a GTX780 or a Radeon r9 290x and save the money that I would have spent on the CPU and main board, would I see much improvement by upgrading the processor or should I just keep mine. thanks and I hope to hear some good advice.

I'd keep your current CPU, and sink the money into an 290x, for sure.

That i5 of yours can still hold its own for gaming. Nothing wrong with your setup that I can see other than the GPU upgrade thats needed.

good recommendation is to buy both CPU and GPU . . although your current cpu is also good, no bottlenecking issue but i5 4670k good for overclocking and GTX 770 or r9 290 should be a good choice . . your PSU is cooler master but of which category ?

Thanks for the replys guys sorry it was this one. Corsair 600W CXM Builder Modular 80 Plus Bronze PSU 3 Year Warranty.

Also I built a PC for my son last week it's the 4670k with a 770gtx I did a few tests using a benchmark for arma 3 which is my main game I play, and there was only 4 fps in it hence why I'm slightly leaning towards just the r9 290x. I've read a few benchmarks and they mostly said stick with the i5 2500 but would I see big benefits with the single r9 290x thanks.
