What is this end file in my c drive?

I recently found a file in my c drive titled "END" when I click properties it says the file type is a file, does anyone know why this is here and if I should be concerned?

the size is 0kb and when I open it in notepad there is nothing. I'm just concerned it's malware or something else bad because the file was created on the same day I downloaded WinRAR from some website but now when I google WinRAR download I can't find the same website I used, I can only find it in my history. anyway when I installed it it tried to force several other programs on me but I declined them all. I still don't know if something bad got through though

if it zero byte, delete it.

and run malwarebyte.org if you haven't already.

ok I deleted it and am running a full computer scan with malwarebytes free, is this going to get rid of it?

if there was a malware, it should found it, if not, it might just be some app creating a temp file.
