I want to buy a 24" monitor with 1920x1200 resolution. I've been told that these monitors have taller height than 1080px monitors but i cant find exact size anywhere !!!! retailers only provide the size of the monitor WITH the stand !

So if someone owns a 24" 1920x1200 monitor, could you please tell me the exact size of the monitor itself WITHOUT the stand ? It would help me a lot !

I don't own one, and the height will vary slightly based on the border around the scree, but yes, it would be slightly taller than a 1080p monitor of the same size, because it has the same number of pixels horizontally, but 120 extra vertically. If I do the math, it comes out to 20.351in wide and 12.719in tall, but again, the size of the border matters, and frequently these screens aren't exactly 24in.

I have both the U2412 and a U2410. These are both fantastic monitors and unless you are doing graphic design/editing/photo work, you should just go with the cheaper model of the 2. For gaming purposes, they are great resolution and the 16:10 ratio is a bit better than a 16:9 IMO.
