Hi Guys im pretty efficient when it comes to over-clocking on AMD but this will be my first time trying to over-clock on Intel any advice? and possibly some specs to start with - My system is water cooled so im not to worried about the cooling side of things

Any help would be great thank you

Do you mean that your multiplier is dropping to 0.80?

If so, that would be a combination of Intel Speed Step and Windows "Balanced" Power Profile. The cure is to disable ISS in your BIOS, and set your Advanced Power Option in Windows to "High Performance".

I'm just the opposite. I like for my CPU to slow down at low load.
