How to share win7 & xp

On your Win 7 machine:
Network and sharring center, homegroup options, advanced sharing center:
Turn on network discovery
Turn on file and printer sharing
Enable file sharing for devices that use 40 or 56 bit encryption
You can then setup your sharred folders and mount them like you normally would with XP
