I want to buy a new graphic card for my PC and I can't decide between these three cards (GeForce GTX 650 2GB DDR5,GeForce GTX 650 Ti 1GB DDR5 and ATI R7 260X 2GB GDDR5).

I was told that I should choose between GTX 650 2GB and ATI R7 2GB GDDR5 and also my friend told me that R7 260X is the best for gaming and offered the best performance while it was tested.

What is your opinion, which graphic card should I buy and why? Which is the best?

I appreciate every answer, thanks.

It would help if you listed your budget but I would rather recommend either the GTX 750 Ti or the R7 265:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202096

See comparison:
http://gpuboss.com/gpus/Radeon-R7-265-vs-GeForce-GTX-750-Ti

And for the price of these compared to either the 650 or the 260x you will see the clear value.

The cards you listed are decent but for about the same price you get noticeably improved performance. Hope this helps!

Right now, overall I'd recommend the 265 as the best performer in this tier ($/performance ratio wise)

Thanks.

My budget is around 115 - 120 euros and in my country (Macedonia) for these budget the best that you can get are these three graphic cards. That is why I want to make a choice for one of these and I was asking for opinion about Nvidia or ATI.

I used to have GeForce 9800GT 1 GB DDR3 and I've used this graphic card for 6 years without problem, previously I had ATI and I had problems with some games that were supproted by Nvidia. Will I have the same problem now if I buy an ATI card because with 9800 GT I had no problems with any game. According to this where Nvidia Ti with 2 GB is tested which I don't have as a choice ATI is better, according to the performance and my head says ATI but my heart says Nvidia. :D http://www.hwcompare.com/15492/geforce-gtx-650-ti-2gb-vs-radeon-r7-260x/

For example in my country GeForce GTX760 2GB GDDR5 is 229 euros and ATI R9 270 2GB GDDR5 is 164 euros. I don't think that I can get GTX 750 Ti or R7 265, I think that they are not even on the market and I can't order online.

Also one of my friends told me that the last graphic cards from ATI have some problems, is it true? This is a big investment for me and I want to consider everything before I buy, thank you one more time for your time. I hope for an opinion from you and some other opinions from other people.

I understand your issue better now. I too favor NVIDIA a little bit for reasons you shared. However, I try to remain open minded and when recommending gpus to others I keep it strictly on the numbers but I cannot blame you for your bias. I actually own the GTX 650 Ti to hold me over till I can purchase a 780 and it is quite enjoyable and reliable. I built my latest rig to accommodate a much more powerful card but that said my current card is serving me well. On the flip side, as HiTechObsessed has stated he's not experienced any problems either so it sounds like you should be in the clear to just go with the best value available. Somehow, I feel like it's the constant battle that on paper the ati cards look like they should always outperform the nvidia cards but in reality it doesn't seem to play out that way but it appears of late that's no longer true but I cannot vouch for ati as of late as I do not own any current gen gpus of theirs. Hope this helps!

Thanks mate I will definitely consider this before I make final decision. :)

The final choice will be made between GeForce GTX650 2GB DDR5 and ATI R7 260X 2GB GDDR5. In my country Ti is only available with 1GB and I want more powerful graphic card with 2GB. Till now I've used just one ATI card and I had problems with some games especially with fog, water and wind in the games.

I will have to make a choice this weekend and buy a new graphic card. Thanks for the discussion and the opinions and if you have something more to share or add feel free to do it.

A Sapphire R7 260X http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HJOKCZI will perform far better than a GTX 650.

This graph will give you and idea but the GTX 650 is below the lowest card, the HD 7770, on the list.

I am really confused right now and I can't decide which graphic card should I buy, everyone have different opinions and everyday comes up something new.

Choosing my next graphic card is definitely more difficult than I first thought.

It's not that difficult, figure out how much you want to spend and get the fastest card you can afford. :)
