I just built a computer that should have 4gb of ram (two 2gb sticks). Unfortunately one of the sticks come up as 512mb both in the bios and in windows which is definitely hindering the system. I've placed the ram in the motherboard according to the manual so that is not the problem. This seems like a strange problem that I have not seen elsewhere on the internet. Any insight on this problem would be hugely appreciated!

Ram- Fatal1ty pc3 10666 PN: OCZ3f13334GK
I've tested and found that only one stick is coming up as 512mb in every workable ram slot.
These parts come from a friend and at one time they were working together. Later he upgraded to 32gb on the motherboard, so when he gave me this motherboard he also included his old ram.
