Hello, well first off I would like to say I have tried many things to try and fix this but none seem to work. So ive resorted to hopefully getting some help here. Now, the problem with my computer is even at lowest settings in EQ2, it runs 2-6fps which is wow RIDICULOUS. I hear people complaining about being under 50fps and I am never seeing above 10fps. Now Everquest 2 is an older game and should def not be getting such a terrible performance, especially since the specs for my computer are above minimum. EQ2 is the only game i play on this, so never tried out any others, and would hate to see how newer games even play when this runs so terrible. Ive recently reinstalled windows, ran many defrags, c cleaners, registry cleaners, updated my drivers with catalyst due to toshiba never updating its drivers itself. I have even tried AMD fusion as recommended by a friend and it had no effect either. Well thats my problem so guess ill get to the specs now... im not a computer whiz so if im missing anything, just let me know, kindly please, looking for help, not an argument.
Toshiba Satellite L455D-S5976
AMD Sempron 2.10 Ghz Processor
4Gb Ram
ATI Radeon 3100 Graphics
Windows 7Ulti 32bit (i know 4gb ram isnt completely compatible with this but after system crash had to reinstall windows and only had 32bit disk.) A side note, I had bought this about a month ago off of craigslist and was told no problems, had many but cleaned it up quite a bit, only problem now is it runs eq2 like crap. and it honestly shouldnt. Please any help would be great Thanks for your time.
