New system build questions (Gaming)

Hi Community,

I am new here, and wanted to ask for some opinion. I am building a new rig, mostly for gaming purposes. I am looking at the below CPU/MB/GPU setup. Let me know what you think.

I have not built a new machine in 5 or so years, been using a couple laptops to satisfy my gaming needs. Any help would be awesome, trying to stay under 1k for the full build. Will need a PSU, RAM and a HDD.

If you do not ever plan on using dual gpu (SLI) then could save $20 on the mobo with an H87 unless you plan to overclock in which case you would need a i5-4670k and a z87 mobo.
Put a SSD in the build for boot up and core applications.

Case selection is pretty much up to your personal preference, i just picked a random decent one.
Note: Any gtx 770 will work just as well, I just like EVGA
