Hi all, I currently have this patriot set that runs at 2.2V. From what I am reading, it is factory overclocked. I'd like to upgrade and add at least 4 GB to my board ( I am running 64-bit windows on this board )

I have found a couple ram choices that match everything (CAS, Size, DDR2, timing, etc) with this RAM but the voltage.

What are my options?

  • Get second pair and hope their are no issues
    Lower voltage of first pair
Replace original pair with 2 new pair

you should replace the two pairs with a pair of 4GBs, that'll bring your total to 8 gigs, making it excellent for gaming. OC'ed parts are very dangerous. I would suggest OCing yourself. I never trust the factory.
