Is this GPU good enough to run Planetside 2 on high?

If possible i would defenetly go to an AM3+ motherboard and get an FX-6300 CPU...
HERE : http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3gmfm

that would take you much further in the future before you need another PC upgrade, i would also swap the 750
for a 750ti its new architechture consumes less energy, runs cooler, quiter and is more powerful...here would be my final build :

you can see its 75$ more or so...but much better system overall...and this CPU would feed even a GTX 780...so you could upgrade the graphics card later on and powersupply...you may want to check for a stronger powrsupply from the gecko tho...in that case...HERE:

The CPU you picked in your build is really the weakest link on this system tho, and if money is really an issue here this is the only part that i would really wait and saves some more before i buy...the X4 you selected is really on the weak side..

Bad_Kitty13

Admirable
you could always go with this and it would bive you an upgrade path to a i5 or i7 down the road

i would not recommand an i3 at this time since it's a well known fact that many of the new games to come will use more than 4 threads the new consoles being weak 8 thread capable machines, just look at the recommanded requirements for watch dogs for example, a core i3 simply dont stand a chance to run on high settings in a near future...it does meat the minimum and will run great but for future proofing i would go with at least a true quad core CPU or better a 6 or 8 core

if the ONLY purpose for this system is to play planetside 2 then yes from what i see on the net the game prefer an intel cpu...OP should look and think about this and check benchmarks for himself but his original build on the x4 cpu is a really bad idea...
