I recently replaced my old Geforce PCI GPU with a new PNY Geforce GTX 650 and I can't get it to display anything.

It's not the PSU - I recently replaced that and it has ample output.

The motherboard is an ASUS M2V-MX, with an AMD 64 CPU.

Everything is properly connected with the power cables and PCI slot etc... when I switch the old GPU back in it works fine so it's not the slot or the power supply. I've deleted the old drivers and tried booting in safemode but nothing works.

There's a random clicking noise for about 15 seconds followed by on beep from the mobo which according to the manual should indicate VGA found but nothing happens after that. I'm not really sure what else to do at this point.

Have you connected the external 6-pin connection from the power supply to the graphic card?
