I'm going to try to overclock the 8350

I know that there are haters, but people need to agree that Windows 8 boots faster, is more secure, and with the upcoming service pack is much more desktop friendly then before.

But my other point is that with windows 7 OEM version (unlike windows 8 OEM) you need to buy a new copy if you get a new motherboard. So that is the main reason to go with 8. (Plus, on SSD I get 8 second boots when I turn my PC on in the morning)

Looks pretty decent, I would possibly say change the H100i to a noctua CPU cooler, they're much quieter and cheaper, and spend the money on a better mobo for overclocking.

DEFINITELY change the PSU. The Cx units are average at VERY best. Stick with Antec, XFX, Seasonic, Corsair (not CX, CS, RM)

Would definitely go WIN 8.1. It is simply better.

Any of the brands I recommended 650w.

I also agree that a Noctua NH-D14 cooler would be ideal. Less money, cools the same, makes WAY WAY less noise.

I changed the power supply to a http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-power-supply-120pg0650gr and the CPU fan to the noctua and changed to win8

You can also modify Windows 8 and remove the start screen so it performs just like Windows 7!
