what kinda pocessor should i buy?

what i currently have is a GTX 770,
going to buy a MSI Z87 Mpower MOBO
not sure on PSU yet. probably 1000W, i want to get 3 GTX 770's
I'm just unsure on processor. i want to live stream but not sure if i NEED to spend 400 on a I7, i normaly play arma3,dayz,arma2. heavy processor based games. i have a few friends who say i should just get a i5 but unsure if i should listen or just suck it up and pay the extra money because i need it.

An i5 4670K would work fine for your intended use. You can get an i7 if you want, but you won't notice any difference between the i7 and i5 in most games.

If you intend to livestream your games, you may very well benefit from the i7. Look for deals, but I suspect it would be worthwhile while you are streaming, but probably not while just playing.

If you're going to go with 3 770s AND stream, I would get an i7. The i7 will be better for that circumstance, and you won't see framerate dips as often/as much.

I'd suggest going with dual SLI instead of tri SLI. The benefits of SLI plummet after two cards, Tom's Hardware even had an article comparing SLI 770s vs a single 780 (which it should be common knowledge that SLI 770s > 780). But once they added a third card and compared against two 780s, the 780s performed a whole lot better than the SLI 770s.
