Approximate Purchase Date: This weekend or next week

Budget Range: Around 1k, with monitor I am willing to go slightly above

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, personal use, media streaming

Are you buying a monitor: Yes: Mine has many dead pixels and I need an upgrade

Parts to Upgrade: CPU, MB, GPU, PSU, RAM, Possible Case

Do you need to buy OS: No

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: I have had good luck with Newegg, but best place for the price and service is a plus.

Location: Denver, CO

Parts Preferences: Had good luck with Intel processors in the past, bad luck with ATI video cards, but no other preference.

Overclocking: Maybe: Slight novice at overclocking

SLI or Crossfire: No, looking to save some money with just a good card

Your Monitor Resolution: Would like 1920 X 1080

Additional Comments: I play a lot of WoW, Starcraft 2, Diablo 3, and anything on steam. Usually nothing VERY demanding, but would like to run most of these on high graphics at least.

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: I am using an older HP laptop currently and an older machine that is my father-in-laws. I would like to give this back to him and have my own.

Parts I have already looked at, and like the price point/reviews (The Intel i5 is based on this site's suggestions, been reading through since I am fairly new.)

Example:
CPU
Intel i5-3350P

MB
ASUS p8Z77-V LK

GPU
MSI Gaming N770

You'll max those games out with the included monitor. Went with an IPS display for the nice colors and viewing angles.

Thanks for the feedback. 8 GB of memory fairly standard now? I have seen people going up to 16 GB and wasn't sure if it was necessary.
