Lagging on games with good computer

I used to be able to run games great on my laptop. Getting around 60 fps on skyrim with high settings, now with low settings I can't get more than 5 fps. It's the same with every game. This started when the hard drive had to get wiped. Any help?

Memory - 8GB Dual Channel DDR3

Graphics - Intel® HD4600
NVIDIA® GeForce GTX® 765M
(2GB GDDR5, with Optimus Technology)

Storage - 128GB / 256GB / 512GB SATA III SSD

Windows 7 64 bit

Go into your control panel and make sure all your drivers are upgraded. Also, it may be your internet which is causing you to lag. You might want to do a speedtest just to make sure it isnt your internet.

I'm fairly certain that internet speeds have nothing to do with Skyrim.

The internet has nothing to do with it. All my drivers are up to date too.
