Hey you guys whats up. Recently I have been having some issues with the wi-fi. I have around 10 devices usually connected and the speed is 50 mb down and 10 up. The thing is that the laptops wont connect. My desktop, parents smartphones, and our school laptops will connect but my sis and moms laptop(windows 8) and my dads laptop (windows 7) wont connect at all. The router I have is a linksys ac1900 router and I use Time Warner Cable for my internet. PLEASE HELP and thanks in advance.,

As some criticism from a Time Warner Cable customer, TWC sucks. Period. My internet will not stay on more than 5 minutes and continuously power cycles over and over again. Normally I have to leave it off for over an hour to get it to stay on, it's so annoying.

But to answer your problem, did you restart the modem / router so it can obtain a new IP address? Restart the laptops so they can obtain a new IP address? Even if Windows rejects the connection all together and other devices can still connect, restarting the network normally allows me to connect.
