I'm buying a new GPU this week and I'm torn between the EVGA GTX 770&760.
I'm running an AMD FX-8120 ASUS M5A97 LE r2.0 MOBO

I only play on a single monitor at 1080p, would the 760 be enough to play newer games maxed out and averaging 60fps? (BF4, ESO, Rust, Skyrim)
or should I spend the extra cash and get the 770.
If I don't need it I don't want it, but I'm still new to PC Gaming and would love opinions.

Cheers!

GTX 760 would be enough to play those games on maxed setting around 50-60 FPS

before you make a purchase i would suggest you think a little bit further...the future? will there be other next gen games you want to be able to blay on high settings with great framerates? watch dogs for example...there will be more demanding titles to come in the next months or years and maybe it would be a good investment for you to aim a little higher than the current games you play...just saying.
i might be crazy but when i saw the GTX780 performing 42% better in games than a 770 and coming with 3gb of vram instead of two i went out and spent 500$ to get one that way im covered for the entire PS4/xbone era...
