So in my quest for a perfect (budget) gaming pc I have narrowed down to these cards. My dilemma: the 260x has a 1188 core clock but only 128-bit memory interface; the 265 has 900(925OCed) core clock and 256-bit memory interface. Other than those differences the are the same card basically.
I will say thanks ahead of time to anyone with more graphical knowledge than me, and for anyone who spends time to answer this message.
Thanks!

It's a tough question many are asking. Bang for the buck the r7 265 is the superior card (assuming you get it around $150).
The only issue is that the r7 260x contains GCN 1.1 architecture which may be important if you want TrueAudio or to use bridgeless Crossfire down the road.

I now have tried both cards and have to say the 265 is a beast. Thanks for the answer Landstander but I have to go with the 265 as of now.
