Hello forums

Just want to know which GPU is better: GT 610 or the Radeon 6450?
The GT 610 is more expensive so I'm assuming it's better, however I might be wrong.
So for those who know about GPUs, which one is better in performance in general?

More about : 610 radeon 6450

Both of those video cards are VERY slow, maybe even slower than your integrated graphics (or maybe just a little bit faster, but not much). They are not worth buying.

A better choice would be a video card in the $100 range.... or better yet, the $150 range, the $150 range would let you get a good video card that will definitely be faster than what you have now.

I'm changing my answer. Try going for a GT 630 instead. It's a similar price but you'll actually be able to run many games on low settings.

It'd really be better if you could get a GTX 750 though. That'd run a lot of games quite well.
That's assuming you intend it to run games and not just DVDs or something.

The 650 Ti might give you a little more performance, but uses more power:

A 650 TI would actually be way higher performance than a GT 610 or HD 6450.

That was based on your recommendation for the 750. So, what I meant by it was the 650Ti would give him better performance than the 750 for around the same price point.

Oh, I see. A 750 SC would also work at a similar price.

I guess we'll see when he replies back. :)  BTW, one concern I have is that I don't know if he has enough power for those $120-$150 cards ... although they don't use a lot, they do add extra load.

Anyways, to Teslamerman... if you can give us an idea of how much you might be willing to spend and what kind of performance you are hoping for, or any other info you think is relevant, that'd be great.
