I have an i7 4770k which is such a shitty OCer! I hate this damn thing, i have a Corsair H100i on it and still gives me BSODs when i try to OC it! Now i'm thinking about MSI z87 GD65 with i5 4670k. What do you guys think? What else would you guys suggest? But understand i don't want to spend more than i have to. Just need a Motherboard and a processor till Intel Skylake comes out in 2015. Right now i have Asus z87 Sabertooth but the capacitors are a little bent and its just annoying me.

You have a top of the line intel processor, why would you downgrade because you cant OC well.

I would recommend staying with it, as an overclocked 4670k wont beat the stock 4770k. Just look into working on the OC (Likely voltage issues) and go from there.

Do he capacitors have anything to do with the OC not working right?

What are the temps? Lol when i OC it you get a straight BSOD when you try to get to desktop and then it starts up again and stay normal... but that BSOD scared me so i changed it back to default lol. I'm trying to get to where everyone else has gone to, 4.6 or atleast 4.5 lol
