I recently put together my first pc, and everything went okay with the build, but I just noticed that the headphone jack in the front is not working. I don't know if it's something wrong with the front panel wiring in the tower itself, or the way I have something hooked up, or what. The speakers that I have plugged in the back of the tower are working fine, and I even tested out the headphones by plugging them into the back where I currently have the speakers plugged in, and they work if I do that. So, I'm not sure what the deal is. If anyone knows what the problem might be, and can let me know what I can do to hopefully resolve this issue, it would be greatly appreciated.

Check the wiring btw front panel audio wire and front panel audio connector on motherboard!

If there are 2 front panel wire headers use the one with HD Audio label
