Hello, I was just looking into building a computer, and I found what appeared to be an okay graphics card, the PowerColor AX7870 2GBD5-2DHV5E/OC: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...... Until I looked at the reviews. It would appear that the card commonly gets up to above 80 degrees C, and the manufacturer took the time to respond, saying that it's rated for up to 79 deg. C... What I wanted to know is, if any of you out there have used it or not, and if it is safe to use (as in it won't overheat on me). I would be using it mostly for gaming and video editing, if that affects your answer at all, and I'm a bit new to building computers (this will be my first one). So, I would like to use this particular chipset, but it seems that most cards using it have bad cooling or are above my budget. If anyone could give me an answer, that would be great :D .

80C is common for most GPU's. I believe they can get into the low 100's before they have any real issues. GPU's run hot. all of them.
