Hey guys
Okay, my work notebook was connected to my works domain (***.co.za) and long story short I changed it from Domain to Workgroup with the title of WORKGROUP in "Members of:" with the expectation of being able to go back to the Domain without hassle.
Now I cannot get back onto the domain member group. I select Domain in "Member of:" and type in the domain (***.co.za) and then get promoted for my credentials and fill them in but get prompted with an error:
"The join operation was not successful. This could be because an existing computer account having name "NB-****" was previously created using a different set of credentials. Use a different computer name, or contact your administrator to remove ant stale conflicting account. The error was:
Access is denied."
Why can't I rejoin the Domian?
PS. I am currently on the Administrator account for the notebook connected to the companies network.
