I have an i7 pc with 8 gigs tam but due to studies i installed windows xp months ago,
If i use my old CRT monitor then everything is displayed, if i plug in the 23inch monitor then i get a no signal screen, if i auto adjust same thing, but the 1st time i booted the pc up with it, it seems as if it was searching for the proper resolution, because i saw some display but was like half of the screen blurry with like red lines across and from there it went back to no signal.
i have checked 2 different powersupplies a 600wat and 500wat, my processor is fine and the cables is properly connected. i then changed the resolution on my crt monitor to the highest which then went out of frequency, i pluged the 23inch in asap and still no display.
My grafics card is not powerful but it runs most games in high res.
both inputs is DVI so i use a converter.
i reseted my board, same issue, keep in mind that once i switch on the pc still shows no display, but the 1st time i plugged it in the screen went black with nothing on almost like its recieving a signal but that all he sang,when windows loaded the screen went back 2 no signal.
Any advise.
