I have pretty decent machine but it has one flaw and i was curious if i can run new day z smoothly?
PC:
4770k no OC
gtx 770 2gb
samsung 840 evo 120gb
and unfortunately just a single 8gb 1600mhz vengance lp stick:(((
i get that this game is cpu intensive but i wonder if my single ram stick will hold me back??
I don't want to buy it on steam just to realize it's unplayable.

Some people just have money to spend, my friend.

kowalsky, your computer should more than handle DayZ at high settings. Maxing it out may be a bit of a hat trick though, but that's because of the game's current state of optimization, not your computer. Your single RAM stick should not hold you back.

Beautiful PC, very similar to mine. You will definately be able to max out Day Z. Any stuttering, fps drops, or lag is not due to your specs, but would be due to poor optimization and bugs within in the game!
