I'm pretty sure the answer is no but I just wanted to confirm my suspensions before I go any further. I just purchased a GTX750ti. It has one each of a dual Link DVI-I, One dual Link DVI-D, one mini-HDMI port on the back.
I ordered a DVI-I to dual VGA adapter for my dual monitor setup and so far I have been unable to get the computer to recognize the secondary monitor. I can plug them both up to the right side cable and they are both being seen but not together. First monitor is a LED Asus 24" and the other is a 20" LG W2040. I've made sure that my refresh rate is set to 60mhz.
Anyway, the port for the card is DVI-D. So with that being said do I need to re-order a DVI-D to VGA or does it really matter as the DVI-I simply adds the capability to transfer audio as well.

Thanks in advance.

I thought that at first as well. I swapped the monitors and the w2040 does come on. The only things that made me question the faulty cable was a. It had literally just arrived from monoprice, and b. When i attached the LED to one VGA adapter and the w2040 to the other i got the error of D-Sub not in range. I then plugged it in alone and allowed it to set itself to 60hz and it came on fine. Now when I plug both in at the same time I am no longer getting that error and its simply putting itself straight into sleep mode.

Unfortunately not. Would the fact that it is a dual DVI-D slot and that I have a DVI-I to split VGA cable have anything to do with the issue?

Well yeah both DVI- and DVI-I work in different manner. Dvi-d only sents analog signals and dvi-i sends both analogs and digital signals. Although the adapter should show display but both are different things.

Update: And you should notice that dvi-i have more slots so the adapter should fit but the signals are not going as they should and this is resulting to cause adapter to work differently, and the adapter is forwarding those signals incorrectly which only results in working your one monitor.

Well I'm going to go ahead and order a DVI-D to VGA cable then and see if thats a good fix. If it is i'll come back and let you know.
