Sapphire Tri-X R9 290 not fitting into Phantom 410 mid-tower case

Having some trouble here. It simply won't fit because the card is too big. Do i have to take the hard drive cage out?

Yeah, the drive cage on that case is removable, so you should be able to fit you graphics card after you take it out.

I don't have the case, but I'm pretty sure there are like 1 or 2 thumb screws on the drive cage that hold it in place.

Remove those screws and pull out the cage. Consult your case manual if you need help.

Still having trouble... When I try to remove the other screw nothing happens. Freaking out because I spent 500 bucks on this and it doesn't even fit my case!

Theres probably 2 screws on the back of the case. remove your back panel and then remove it.

That sucks. I have 4 drives, so I cant fit a 290 with this case? I guess I have to buy the 280x instead

I'm curious if it fit too. I want to buy a 290x and a 410, but not sure if it's going to fit. I have 3 drivers that need to fit in as well

I have the MSI 290 so just a bit smaller and was able to leave cage in. I think sapphire would be too large unless you pop cage out. You could always buy a 5.25 converting took to place one in one of your 5.25" (CD) bays
