PCIe 3.0 OR 2.0??

Hi,

I have Asus H87M-E mobo and it says that it has PCIe 3.0/2.0 x 16 slot but when I checked PCI configuration in UEFI BIOS, only "gen1" and "gen2" is available under PCIe speed...

So do I have PCIe 3.0 OR 2.0??

And what does it mean by PCIe 3.0/2.0 x 16?? I mean other manufacturers simply write PCIe 3.0 x 16... So why it is written PCIe 3.0/2.0??

just a marketing notations . . it says that this port is backward compatible . if a port is 3.0 so it is always backward compatible
