First off, here is my current build.
AMD FX-8120. Asus M5A97 LE R2.0 mobo. GTX 650. Stock CPU Cooler. Corsair HX 650w PSU. 8g Patriot RAM. CM Scout case.

I am blowing some hard earned money this week on the PC, and need some opinions so I know I'm not just wasting it. I want to get either the GTX 770 or 780. Would my PSU handle those cards? Also need a new CPU Cooler, was reading great things about the 212 Evo, but it looks big. Would it fit in my case? And the last thing I'm doing this week is ditching the 1333 memory and buying 8g of Corsair Vengeance 2x4 1600.
Any opinions if this is all necessary or maybe there's a better route to take? I want my PC to be ready for all future games to come, and honestly I'm new to PC. So this is all very exciting ordering parts and learning to install them myself!
Thanks for taking the time to read and respond :)

Solution
Don't bother upgrading RAM speed, it makes zero difference, your PSU will be fine for either card, the 212 EVO will fit in that case no problem, 770 vs 780 is up to you, both are good for the price but with 2Gb VRAM the 770's do run into some problems with a select few games (usually all you have to do is drop AA down). That's the quick answer if you want/need clarification just ask.

Also, my wife gave me a $500 budget >< But I'm contemplating selling the PS4 since it hasn't been touched aside from Netflix since I bought the PC, so lets say I have $800 (possibly a little more) to work with. And I also only have 3 case fans (front, rear, top) plus the cpu fan. Is that something else I should look into also? Sorry if I sound like a child with all the questions!
