i had windows 8 on my laptop I up dated to windows 8.1.some of my programs wont work with 8.1 how do i change it back to 8

Right click the icon of the program on your pc's desktop and go to properties. Open the compatibility tab and check "run in compatibility mode" then select Windows 8 and click OK. If this doesn't work, do the same, but select Windows 7 or XP. Post back after trying this.
