I want to play games on my TV. Is HDMI the best option? Because in the past, I have found HDMI to be pretty laggy, just when watching movies played from my computer. And I would imagine the lag to be even worse when gaming. Is there a better option that I should know about or is HDMI what most gamers use?

Is the PC right by the TV.

HDMI should be the best option, if it is laggy that sounds like a hardware issue (like the TV or the PC's Video Crad).

When you say laggy do you mean that the sound is off of the video track, the video is stutering, do you mean that you have it on TV and PC and it is slower on TV then on PC screen??

Well in the past I was using quite a long HDMI cable to reach my TV, probably 25+ feet I would say.

And to be honest I don't really recall how exactly it was lagging (it was about a year ago).

Yes, my TV will be right next to my PC when I get one. It was just that in the past I had a completely different setup.
