Last night I ran disk check through command prompt and I think it changed the look of my windows explorer and I don't know how to change it back... It should be an easy fix, but I can figure it out. If it didn't look like Windows 98 I'd be kind of ok with it, but it does and I need to to know how to fix it.... Any suggestions?

I don't think it could have been anything else because that's the only thing out of the ordinary that I've done since the last time I've booted my computer (last night). HELP!

Hi
Why did you run chkdsk from cmd prompt?
Was this to fix a problem ?

Unless hard disk was corrupt running chkdsk should not cause any problem
Did chkdsk give any report it usually does, fragments of lost files will be stored on disk.

If you have access to an admin account create a new account
Log out of account and into new account
See if this account & explorer looks ok
(Sometimes only one account is corrupted)

It was an attempted fix that someone suggested on a Hearthstone forum to stop the game from randomly crashing, though it didn't work :p I did it from the command line because I was unaware that there was another way of doing it haha.

No report was given and the problem seems to be only found on the account that I use: the one I used to test the problem has what I think is called Aero Desktop (the standard look for Win7).
