Hi all,
I recently bought a new rig:
i5 4670k
16 GB vengeance pro
GTX 770
Z87 HD3
1TB Seagate 7200 rpm
128 GB Samsung 840
Seidon 120V water cooler.
And I used my old monitor with it ( AOC 2236). When playing games, I have noticed waves across my screen, which is very distracting! I've tried turning on v-sync, but this has cut my FPS from ~60 to ~30. I was thinking about buying a new monitor with a higher refresh rate, but was wondering whether that will actually help? And if so, please can someone point me in the right direction for a new monitor? I am looking for a 22-24 inch monitor with 1080p about £150-£200. My current monitor has a refresh rate of 60 Hz.
