do internal hard drives have an os already installed? particularly this one http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00IGHGUVW i am trying to replace my old laptop hard drive because it wont boot to windows anymore. cant afford to buy a os right now. so that's why i need a internal hard drive thats cheap with a os installed. Thanks for the help

No, a hard drive does not come with an OS installed (or with it unless bundled). If needing an OS for free, I might suggest a Linux distro like Ubuntu which isn't too difficult to navigate and use (plus there are tutorials all over the net and it's free!)
As Scout_03 points out, you have the license key with your laptop, you can reinstall the Windows OS from disk using that key (even using someone else's disk for the install - provided the OS version is the same)
