GTX 560 ti is my main card and I recently bought a third monitor I know this card only drives 2 so I bought a cheap PNY 610 2GB graphics card.
Problem is that my main card is the only one running everything.
Windows recognizes the second cad, in the Nvidia control panel it shows the second card and the monitor attached it so why is my main card driving it? Is there anyway around this so I can have the 2nd card driving the third monitor?

The nvidia spec page for the 560ti says it should have 2 DVI ports and 1 hdmi port = 3 monitors
and your board does support 2-way SLI, so you could do that.
I assume the back of your card looks likes this:

The little port on the back is a mini-hdmi port, which means you'd need one of these cables:

This will impact your performance though, your card might not be up to running 3 monitors at your specified resolution.
