Dear Tom's Hardware,
I am rather in a bind with my build. And, here is why..
One, my budget is on the fritz because every-time I think I have a solid build.. etc.. I get hit in the face with $50 for this $50 for that $200 for this $200 for that.. I do know however. For my entire entertainment room setup(which includes a TV and entertainment center as well as gaming computer and any peripherals or software and speakers) is a $2000 HARD budget. meaning, I cannot go over this at all.. not a penny over. including tax. lol
I know most of you would probably tell me not to do this.. But, because of the restraints of my budget, what I am using it for, and my room size as well as a "Xbox One/Ps4" down the line I am going to use a 48'Inch 1080P 120HZ VIZIO Smart Television as a Monitor for the PC and for the Speakers I was going to use VIZIO S4251w-B4 5.1 Soundbar as far as the entertainment center I was looking at Altra Furniture Carson But, again. I'd like your solutions or discussions on what to do..
So, if I am going off everything above and that everything seems okay.. TV/Sound/Entertainment Center. then, this is what I am left with money wise for a desktop gaming system. $907.00 due to that fact it looks like I might be forced into AMD which isn't bad but never had a AMD system/build before.. always been a Nvid/Intel fan but if it's better price and performance wise.. then I am all for it. Also, to save money I have a copy on my laptop of Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit that I can use and I only activated this PC once in it's entire 6/7 year life.
Also, I am pretty much open to any case/mini-itx/micro-itx/itx/atx/mini-atx/micro-atx. it just has to have a dedicated card as well as support for SLI/CrossFire in the future.. it must also be able to fit in the middle of entertainment center right beneath the sound bar in-between the 2 entertainment doors on each side of the entertainment center.. Which I believe is exactly 11inches tall. I am pretty much open to any builds you guys suggest it just has to remain under $900
The games I hopefully will be able to play in 1080p would be Skyrim on High/Ultra(HD Texture pack + HD Mods) at at least 60 FPS.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
